Mediation services

Mediation provides for an impartial third party to mediate between the parties to a dispute.

It is an increasingly necessary tool used to reach a settlement without the need for any further action.

A mediator acts as a facilitator to help overcome deadlock and assist resolution.

The benefits include providing an opportunity for each party to actively put forward their point of view as well as significantly reducing the risk of litigation. This helps prevent escalation of costs and time. It is also flexible, non-binding (until there is a settlement agreement signed by the parties), private and confidential and entirely without prejudice.

Mediation can be of assistance in the areas of family law and civil and commercial disputes.
